what were your favorite albums of 2018?
Oh, that’s hard. I’ll log on to Spotify to help me out with this one. Apparently, the first song I listened to in 2018 was Birdie Bees by Gavin Turek. Which makes sense, because I like the way that woman can set my mood straight.
Top artist I listened to was Dr. Dog. I listened to them the entire two days it took me to paint my room this past summer. So that’s probably where they got the 23 hrs spent listening to them. Nice to know I can nearly spend an entire day with those guys and never be tired of their sound.
Other artists I really enjoyed this year:
- Nao
- Ravyn Lenae
- Jakob Ogawa
- Nick Hakim
- Yellow Days
- Joomanji
- Khruangbin
- Mild High Club
- Jim James
- Durand Jones & The Indications
- Leon Bridges
and I know it was last minute, but super thankful for Ta-ku for bringing that 25 nights of Nujabes to life <3
Thanks for asking, anon!

We are alone. No matter what they tell you, we women are always alone.
Roma (2018) dir. Alfonso CuarónI’m still trying to figure out what the airplanes represent. Message me if you have theories on that. Also, shout out to whoever made these gifs! The main title sequence and space scene are my favorite bits. Thank you.

Lol spending 2019 sick in bed clinging to a box of tissues and a combo pack of DayQuil / NyQuil like it’s my significant other
